The event, which brings together the youth beach volleyball elite from across the country, has become a showcase of skill, strategy, and determination, with representatives competing in the Junior Minor, Junior Major, and Junior Superior categories, both in the women’s and men’s branches.
In the Junior Minor Female category, the Nayarit team faced a challenging duel against Michoacán, emerging victorious after an exciting match that was resolved in three sets. With scores of 21-12, 16-21, and 15-9, the Nayarit players showed their prowess and determination in the sand. Now, their next challenge will be to face the solid pair from Tamaulipas, after the latter suffered a narrow defeat against Sinaloa.
On the other hand, in the Junior Superior Female category, the representatives of Nayarit staged a spectacular comeback to secure victory over Tamaulipas. After losing the first set 16-21, the Nayarit team demonstrated their character by recovering and winning the next two sets with scores of 21-15 and 15-12, respectively. This impressive performance sets a solid foundation for facing the team from Veracruz in their next challenge, following the latter’s initial victory over Colima.
Meanwhile, in the men’s branch, the Nayarit pair in the Junior Major category had a challenging start against the team from Baja California, suffering a defeat with scores of 13-21 and 15-21. However, with a resilient spirit, they are ready to bounce back in their upcoming matches against Nuevo León and Colima.
