Calle 59 is one of the most important tourist corridors in Campeche, as there are historical buildings and architecture worthy of admiration. This street, located in the Historic Center, houses old houses, some of which have been converted into shops, restaurants, hotels, and offices.

On 59th street you can find the Hacienda Puerta Campeche that currently functions as a hotel and the Salón Rincón Colonial, one of the best known and traditional cantinas in the state.

You can also find the Casa San Pablo, a building that contains an art gallery inside dedicated to the exhibition of works by artists from Campeche. Another important building is the Casa del Teniente del Rey, which houses the offices of the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) and has a colonial patio

A few meters further on, you can find the Church of San Roque, called San Francisquito, which was built in the 18th century. Inside, it houses a Franciscan treasure consisting of five gold-laminated altarpieces. Currently, this former convent is now the El Claustro Cultural Center.

Due to its tourist attractions, 59th Street is considered one of the most famous and important in Campeche, which is usually visited by national and international tourists.
