In July, Aeromexico plans to double its flights in and out of Merida as the airline continues restoring routes it was forced to abandon under COVID-19 contingencies.
Its frequencies will also increase in Cancun, Guadalajara, Tijuana and Monterrey, Aeromexico announced.
It will resume its operations from Mexico City to Huatulco, Zacatecas and Manzanillo, and from Monterrey to Cancun, Queretaro, Chihuahua and Hermosillo. Additionally, Aeromexico will launch a new route between Monterrey and Tijuana.
For the international market, it expects an operation of almost four times more compared to June. It will resume its operations from Mexico City to Austin, Tokyo and São Paulo, and from Guadalajara to Chicago, Sacramento and Fresno.
Aeromexico will also add more flights to New York, Los Angeles, Madrid, Amsterdam, Paris, and Seoul.
With these adjustments, the airline expects to have 6,000 flights in July.
