As part of the campaign ¡No Canceles Tu Viaje! Cambia de Fecha (Don’t Cancel your Trip!, Change the Date), (promoted by the Visitors and Conventions Bureau of Riviera Nayarit, as well as different travel agencies), the editorial staff of Vallarta Lifestyles presents some of the most attractive micro-destinations of the North Coast of Banderas Bay, so can discover them from the comfort of your home and get inspired to plan your next vacation.

Nuevo Vallarta

Located only 20 minutes from the Puerto Vallarta International Airport, this is one of the most dynamic micro-destinations of Banderas Bays. It is surrounded by canals and estuaries, as well as diverse luxury residences, exclusive resorts, gourmet restaurants, three world-class marinas, magnificent golf courses, shopping malls, an extended bikeway and, of course, a beautiful beach of golden sand.

 Bucerías

Located only 15 minutes from Nuevo Vallarta, Bucerías is a place with a relaxed environment that offers an extended variety of typical gastronomy, as well as entertainment, including live music and an annual Art Walk, that takes place from November to April. This micro-destination is well known for its colorful main square and long beach of soft sand that is ideal for practicing extreme water sports.

La Cruz de Huanacaxtle

Just 10 minutes from Bucerías, La Cruz de Huanacaxtle offers an interesting contrast, because even though it keeps the picturesque image of a typical fishers town, this place offers its visitors the opportunity to live an elegant experience through its premium services, such as a world-class marina and commercial establishments by the beach offering gourmet gastronomy and live music.

Punta de Mita

20 minutes from La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, Punta de Mita is a small peninsula of fishermen with long beaches of soft sand, that are ideal for practicing different water sports. Here it is also possible to find a great gastronomic variety that includes Mexican dishes and gourmet specialties.

Sayulita

Due to its natural conditions and large beach with soft sand, this micro destination is also known as The Surf Capital of the Riviera Nayarit. With a bohemian image that manages to instill peace through its relaxed atmosphere, this colorful town preserves a small square where various traditional festivals and celebrations are held. Its gastronomy ranges from typical Mexican specialties and gourmet cuisine, to vegan and vegetarian dishes. This place is located just 30 minutes from Punta de Mita.

San Pancho

Located 10 minutes from Sayulita, San Pancho is known as The Cultural Capital of the Riviera Nayarit, as various artistic and cultural presentations take place here throughout the year. This site offers an exquisite gastronomic diversity and a large golden sand beach that is ideal for a relaxing walk.

See you there!
